Community Bank Toodyay & Districts

The role we play is to feed into prosperity, not off it.

Toodyay & Districts Community Financial Services Ltd (TDCFS) operates Community Bank Toodyay & Northam under the Bendigo Bank brand.  We are committed to developing partnerships that assist in achieving positive community outcomes.

We recognise that without successful communities, there cannot be successful businesses.

We invest in local organisations that facilitate activities to build and strengthen our community.

Our community investment funding is made possible by the profit generated from banking services provided at our branch.

Community Investment Funding

TDCFS offers the following funding opportunities:

  1. Community Impact Grants (all year round)
  2. Sponsorships (all year round)
  3. Scholarships (we work with local schools to offer various scholarships with applications opening in Term 3)

Before making your application for funding please read the following information.

We are unlikely to approve an application if:

  1. You do not already have a bank account or have not indicated your intention to open a bank account, with Community Bank Toodyay & Northam. Any funding provided can only be deposited into a Community Bank Toodyay & Northam bank account;
  2. The group you are applying on behalf of has already received funding from TDCFS in the last 12 months;
  3. Your application seeks 100 percent of funding from TDCFS. (It is expected that community organisations will detail what other funding or “in-kind” support they will contribute to the initiative/project outlined on the application).
  4. You have failed to supply acquittal details or to comply with previous funding conditions set by TDCFS;
  5. You apply for funding as, or on behalf of, an individual person;
  6. You are applying on behalf of a commercial enterprise;
  7. Your project / initiative takes place outside the Toodyay & Northam districts unless you can clearly demonstrate direct benefits for the community members of our districts.

Community Impact Grants

Our grants are paid to an organisation to address a social issue within the community.  As part of the grant process, you will be asked to adhere to conditions outlined in the Community Grant agreement.

We strongly encourage you to contact Kirsten Barrack (Branch Manager) during business hours on 0491 210 796 or email kirsten.barrack@bendigoadelaide.com.au to discuss your application before submitting

Sponsorships

We sponsor events, projects or organisations through the provision of money, goods or services in return for customer acquisition opportunities and brand recognition.

We offer 4 levels of financial support, with each level providing specific conditions that you are asked to adhere to as part of the Sponsorship agreement.  If you have fresh ideas or a more tailored approach in mind, we encourage you to chat with us.

Our partnership matrix document can be found here: Partnership Matrix

Scholarships

Our scholarships support students to further their studies with reduced financial burden.  Open to graduating students attending TDHS, St Josephs & NSHS who are embarking on further studies, this program offers financial support to our youth to follow their academic dreams.

 Timelines:

As a guide, we recommend a minimum of 8 weeks lead time from application to event/activity to enable meaningful coordination, communication, and visibility. This helps ensure both your group and Community Bank Toodyay & Northam receive the full benefit of the partnership.

Applications are assessed monthly. For your application to be considered, submissions need to be received by COB on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

We will let you know the outcome of your application within 30 days.

Should you have any queries or require any assistance with your application, please contact Kirsten Barrack (Branch Manager) during business hours on 0491 210 796 or email kirsten.barrack@bendigoadelaide.com.au
